Big fan of SL....and actually she's under another pen name as well G A Aiken. Top 5 of my favorite authors of all time.

I really like this book. Now about the female character Angie. I know a lot of readers dont like her. She can be pretty mean and mouthy. She can annoy because she is sorta like that through the whole book and not everyone likes her character. I love her character. She's a lot to take and she is the way she is for various reasons. She's kick ass and really tough...and she is human! She's had to be tough and mean and can really bring it and kick your ass and doesnt take any crap. She has parents who dont care about her and she's essentially had to take care of herself. She's had to defend herself so you can see why is is the way she is. She fits in perfectly with Miki and Sara for sure!

Nik...is a Siberian tiger and he's hotter than heck. He's sweet and southern and really naughty sometimes. Perfect right? Well...him and Angie dont start off on the right foot...errr paw. His brothers are sorta to blame. They sorta kidnap her and bring her to North Carolina. For her safety of course after she is attacked by hyenas. She doesnt take kindly to it at first. She fights tooth and nail and fights her feelings for Nik and he does too at first. She is a very beautiful woman and he cant help himself. Ha. Great secondary characters and its written really well. Its a very entertaining book and Nik's parents crack me up. This series is sorta intertwined with others by SL. Pride Series. Recommend read and I highly recommend you read Pack Challenge and Go Fetch first before this otherwise you might get confused.

I don't have friends like this. Why don't I have friends like this? How can I get some friends like this? The main female character is the funniest woman ever, and her tiger guy as straight man had me snarfing soda when a one-liner caught me by surprise. (Her, stalking away "You coming?" Him, left painfully aroused, thinking, " Well, that's a loaded question," before following her.) The first two books were enjoyable; this one has me laughing so hard my dog is hiding under the couch. Well written, well paced, exceptional dialogue and believable (well, sort of, given that it's a romance fantasy about shapeshifters and Texans) interactions, can't judge the plot yet but (1) I assume it sticks to formula and has a happy ending, and (2) the Angie character is so entertaining that she can spend the rest of the book sauntering around managing people, without any kind of story arc, and I won't mind. I'm starting to wonder if my Mountain Dew is spiked, because I'm annoyingly critical of everything I read, but with this book I seem to have kicked that attitude under the couch. It's with the dog.
I would actually give this book 4 1/2 stars. More connections are made with the courting of Angelina and the capture of Nik. Angie is strong and nearly as mean as she thinks. Nik denys being like his father, but he is awfully possessive of Angie. This is a romp filled with action, play, and tiger style romance. I enjoy Shelly Laurenston more with each book I read. I only hope more and more and more is to come.
This book was hailours I’m so glad I got it. I haven’t read the ones before it and until the end didn’t actually realise that I had grabbed the last one in the series lol I think that’s something that works it their favour and makes me want to read the others even more. Also I love the main female character I think I want to be friends with her. I thought it was awesome that she went round and spent a bunch of his money then found out his acc number and paid him back without ever asking for permission. Now THAT is a woman I can respect

Here Kitty, Kitty is the third and final book in the Magnus Pack series and follows Angie (Sara's other crazy best friend) and tiger shifter Nik.

After a hyena attack, Angie is "rescued" by tiger brothers, Bannik and Aleksei, then dropped off at their brother Nik's house. Why? Because Nik and Angie had a moment at the airport and his brothers figured they'd help him out. Besides, they tossed a coin for her and apparently Nik won. He arrives home to find a naked Angie in bed and things go downhill from there real fast.

As seems to be the way in all of Shelly's books, humour plays a big part. I must say that I love a book that can get me laughing and horny in one sitting.

Like the previous books, the secondary characters in Here Kitty, Kitty are so enjoyable to read about. Nik's brothers, Ban and Alex, are hilarious together. When they try to woo Angie - tiger style? Priceless. Both men are extremely intelligent, but put them together and they make real bad decisions. Like "rescuing" an unconscious woman and bringing her across state lines.

My only disappointment is that in introducing Ban and Alek, I got the impression that one or both would get their own book. Especially when Alek is having some sort of romantic relationship with Zach's (Pack Challenge) little sister Nessa. At the end of the book Zach is on the phone to Nessa asking when she's coming home and she has to face "him" (not Alek) eventually. Obviously there's a story there and I'd like to hear about it. But to date there's been no mention of Alek and Nessa getting their own book.

So this book marks the end for best friends Sara, Miki and Angie. All three women have found their alpha males and none of them could be happier. But don't get too upset. Shelly created a spin-off series, the Pride Stories, which at time of this review is up to book 9. I have read all 9 books and I'm about to start reading them all over again. Happy times are ahead.
